Privacy notice
Last updated: 23 October 2026
This notice explains what happens to your information when you join the Traceline waitlist. We've kept it short and in plain English.
Who we are
Traceline Intelligence is run by Jody O'Carroll, based in Dublin, Ireland. We are responsible for your information (the "data controller"). You can contact us at traceline.privacy@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- That you ticked the consent box, and when you signed up.
Like any website, our host also processes basic technical information, such as your IP address, to deliver the page and to block spam signups.
We don't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
Why we collect it
Only to email you when Traceline launches. We won't send you any other marketing, and we will never sell or share your email address.
Our legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we'll delete your email address.
Who else handles it
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and stores waitlist signups. Netlify stores form submissions in the United States. Transfers rely on safeguards approved under EU law: Netlify participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and uses Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Google provides our email service, so if you email us, your message is handled by Gmail.
How long we keep it
Until we send the launch email, or 12 months after you sign up, whichever comes first. After that, we delete it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct it if it's wrong
- delete it
- stop using it, or limit how we use it
Email traceline.privacy@gmail.com and we'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
